Paul Green, the baddest year 7 student of all time, was a bully to every boy in the school of Upton Park. Paul is a very big fan of football, his favourite team is Millwall, even though he lives In the West Ham territory. Mainly every boy in his school supports West Ham, so he absolutely hates them. Paul is like a one man army he isn’t afraid to hurt or kill someone. At Paul’s age he has put 70 people into hospital with broken skull bones. Paul lives with his brother as his Mum died and his dad moved to a different country, so from a young age he has always been frustrated with his life. The West Ham territory had no Millwall fans in, it was like the river Theames had splitter two teams up of Millwall and West Ham.

dystopia
on top of the dark blue and green sea stood a massive dark sky and a very big robot factory, the factory is very dark and evil with robots inside that are going to take over the world. above the factory was flying robot cars that are going to search for any remaining humans that have survived the robot killing. beyond the dull factory stood loads of robots skyscrapers full of heavy gun machinery that could kill a human if the bullet was 5cm away from any part of a humans body. inside the robots are metal brains that contain all their powers like, strength, karate, Kung-fu, jujitsu and boxing. underneath the water is a massive robotic fish that have the jaws of 50 sharks put together, these could eat up to 35 humans at once. THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL SURVIVERS “BE AWARE”
my essay
Shakespeare keeps his audience interested in his play by using a very powerful narrative technique called dramatic irony. Dramatic irony is something that increases the tension in the play and makes the audience stand on their feet in interest.
An example of dramatic irony is when lady Macbeth reveals to Macbeth that she wants to kill king Duncan. To show this lady Macbeth says “look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under it.”
Lady Macbeth is saying to Macbeth to hide his inner evil of killing king Duncan and not to tell any any body what they are planning to do. Lady Macbeth is describing there treason as well. This is a dramatic irony because the audience are now expecting a murder to happen later on in the scene.
Shakespeare keeps his audience interested in his play Macbeth because he uses a very powerful language called personification. Personification is something that makes the audience interested in his play because personification means a character acting as a object or an animal, so the the people get interested as it is very unusual.
an example of personification is when Macbeth says to lady Macbeth “sleep that knits up the revealed sleeve of care.” Macbeth is saying that when you sleep you will mend a worn out feeling as if a revealed sleeve and will be re knitted as if it was brand new.
Macbeth is saying to lady Macbeth when you sleep you will mend as if you are re knitting a ripped jumper. This is personification because Macbeth is saying that lady Macbeth is like a person that can mend things asleep also because he is also saying that she is a knitting machine. This makes the audience interested because the audience knows that lady Macbeth is not a knitting machine.
Shakespeare keeps his audience interested in his play by using a very powerful dramatic device called soliloquy. A soliloquy is a piece that makes the audience listen closely because they know that something is going to happen because there is only one person on the stage. This shows interesting will occur.
An example of a soliloquy is when Macbeth says to himself “bring me no more reports, let them fly all;till birnam would remove to dunsinane, I cannot taint with fear. what’s the boy Malcolm? was he not born of a woman? the spirits that know wall mortal consequences have pronounced me, thus: fear not, macbeth no man that’s born of a woman shall ever have the power upon thee. ‘the. fly false thenes and mingle with the English epictures; the mind I sway by and the heart I bare shall never sag with doubt nor shake with fear.’
Macbeth is saying that the three apperations said that macbeth can never be killed by a man or woman so therefore he is definitely not scared of going to war because he can’t be killed.
shakespeare keeps his audience interested in his play by using a very powerful dramatic device called props. props are things that can be creative, and quite dull but props in Macbeth are very interesting and sometimes can be suprising.
An example of when a prop is used is when Macbeth goes crazy and he imagines a dagger floating infront of him. another example of when a prop Is used is when Macbeth becomes king and puts the crown on his head. the crowd doesn’t fit properly. finally the last example is when Macduff kills Macbeth but not only does he kill Macbeth but Macduff beheads him.
In all three cases they are all about Macbeth being wicked. horrible and being killed. the fist example was about Macbeth imagining a dagger, the reason why he imagined the dagger is because he killed king Duncan with a dagger. the second example is when Macbeth gets the crown and it doesn’t fit on his head properly. the reason for this is because shakespeare is trying to make it look it wasn’t meant for Macbeth. the third example was about when maduff kill Macbeth. the reason why Macduff kills Macbeth is because Macduff and malcom knew that Macbeth was a bad person and that he killed banquo and king Duncan so Macduff gets revenge by killing him.
Shakespeare keeps his audience interested in his play by using a very powerful genre called tragedy. tragedy is something that would make the audience worry about someone or makes them know that something bad is going to happen.
an example of a tragedy is when Macbeth kills king Duncan. the only people who know that Macbeth killed king Duncan is lady Macbeth because she planned the whole thing. but nobody can help king Duncan because nobody knows.
when Macbeth kills king Duncan nobody knows except from lady Macbeth. The reason why this is a tragedy is because something bad is going on and nobody can help king Duncan when Macbeth kills him, also it is a tragedy because only one person knows and when other people find out line malcom and Macduff they know that it’s too late to help king Duncan.
in my essay my structure of writing was to do three paragraphs for each thing that I chose, the three paragraphs was 1:point, 2:example and 3:explanation. also the five things that I chose was 1:dramatic irony, 2:personification, 3:soliloquy, 4:props and 5:tragedy. the reason I chose these five things was because I thought that could get a lot out of them and also because I knew the most about that any other choice there was. also the question I answered is “what methods does shakespeare use to keep the audience interested in his play Macbeth?”
